Dominic Cudmore

Currently a lawyer with JFM Law, Dominic has held a number of senior legal roles both in Government and the private sector. Dominic’s principal areas of expertise include employment law and professional standards. He is an accredited mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) and is qualified to mediate resolutions to disputes. Dominic is joining the #GetHired2016 expert panel to follow his desire to assist people to better understand their legal rights when leaving employment or commencing a new position.

Ryan Bennet

Ryan has spent his career as an environmental and planning expert, working in the sectors of consulting, telecommunications and government in a wide range of senior roles. He leads the strategic efforts at FOSSLR, a new social referral powered job site. Ryan is a big supporter of change, especially when it involves employment solutions which deliver effective communication and empowerment for job hunters and employers. He joins the #GetHired2016 panel to share his knowledge and passion for new online job hunter solutions.

Alun Probert

Alun is the Head of the GovCom group and a public sector communications specialist. A former Executive Director of Strategic Communications for the Department of Premier & Cabinet, with over 30 years private and public sector experience managing large teams in Australia and overseas, Alun joins the #GetHired2016 expert panel to provide advice and support to people considering careers in the Australian public service and for public sector people wishing to transition to the private sector.

Bronwyn Carman

Bronwyn is a Human Resources and Organisational Change Expert with over 20 years’ experience. She is the Human Resources Director for Imperial Tobacco Australasia and has a career that has included senior HR positions in both her own consultancy and across a range of industries. Bronwyn has also lectured at Western Sydney University and is a Graduate from AICD. She joins the #GetHired2016 expert panel to share her passion for career advancement and advice on what steps a person can take to get ready for career change.

Bruce Notley Smith MP

Bruce is the parliamentary Member for Coogee and has been a Liberal politician since 2000, when he was first elected as Councillor to Randwick City Council. He also served as Mayor for two years between 2007 and 2009. He has a lot of experience solving people’s problems and helping to get things done in the community. Bruce is a key force behind the NSW Government’s Jobs Action Plan and has a strong portfolio in Education and Employment. He joins the #GetHired2016 panel to provide insight and tips into public sector employment.

David Griffiths

David is the Founder of Social Check, an organisation that provides individuals and businesses with unique technology to rapidly assess their online presence and recommendations to improve it. David has a proven track record in driving change and innovation with expertise in and passion for the converged arena of web, mobile, social media, human behaviour and leadership. He joins the #GetHired2016 panel to assist with expert advice on social media profile management for today’s job hunters.

Ulrich Schild

Ulrich is the creator of the #GetHired2016 event series and Head Coach and founder of Sydney Start Up His team of coaches have helped over 1800 job hunters in Australia find work in public and private sectors since launching in early 2014. He is on a mission to change the way people find work.
